Return and Exchange Policy

At Automated Buildings Company, we are committed to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience while protecting the rights of both the customer and the Company. This Policy has been established to regulate the return and exchange of all products purchased through the Company’s online store.

This Policy applies to all purchases made through the Automated Buildings Company online store, whether by individual customers or business customers, unless otherwise agreed under a separate contract or agreement with the customer. If any conflict arises between this Policy and a signed contract or agreement, the provisions of the contract or agreement shall prevail.

This Policy shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law, its Implementing Regulations, and any other relevant laws and regulations.

First: Exchange Policy

Without prejudice to the consumer’s statutory rights or the applicable warranty provisions, the customer may request an exchange within three (3) calendar days from the date of the purchase order, provided that the product has not been used and that the request satisfies all conditions and exclusions set out in this Policy, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

The following conditions apply:

• The product must be in its original condition, unused, and undamaged. It must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, labels, warranty cards, and accompanying documents.
• The customer must provide the purchase invoice or another document proving the purchase.
• All exchange requests are subject to technical inspection and verification of eligibility under this Policy and the applicable laws and regulations. Automated Buildings Company reserves the right to reject any exchange request that does not satisfy the conditions specified in this Policy.
• If the exchange is requested due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or an error in the product supplied by the Company, Automated Buildings Company shall bear all shipping and exchange costs.
• If the exchange is requested at the customer’s discretion or for any reason unrelated to a manufacturing defect or an error by the Company, the customer shall bear all shipping costs and any other fees associated with the exchange.

Second: Return Policy

The customer may request a return within three (3) calendar days from the date of the purchase order, provided that:

• The product has not been used.
• The request satisfies all conditions and exclusions set out in this Policy and the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The following conditions apply:

• The product must be in its original condition, unused, free from damage, and suitable for resale.
• The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, labels, warranty documents, and all components delivered with it.
• All return requests are subject to technical inspection and verification of eligibility under this Policy and the applicable laws and regulations. Automated Buildings Company reserves the right to reject any return request that does not satisfy the conditions specified in this Policy.
• Once the return request has been approved, the amount shall be refunded to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, subject to the procedures of the bank or payment service provider.
• If the return is requested at the customer’s discretion, due to a change of mind, or because of an ordering error made by the customer, the customer shall bear all shipping and handling costs associated with the return.
• If the return is requested due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or an error by Automated Buildings Company, the Company shall bear all shipping and return costs.

Third: Policy Terms, Laws, and Regulations

1. Damaged Shipments or Incorrect Contents Upon Delivery

The customer must inspect the shipment upon receipt and report any visible damage, missing items, or receipt of an incorrect product within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours from the delivery date.

2. Delivery Delays

• Orders are usually delivered within one (1) to seven (7) business days from the date of purchase.
• The customer may cancel the order if the supply period exceeds seven (7) business days. The amount paid shall be refunded to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days from the date on which the cancellation request is confirmed.

3. Products Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The customer may not request a return or exchange in any of the following cases:

• If the product has been used, installed, operated, programmed, activated, or placed into service, unless a manufacturing defect is proven.
• If the product has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, improper storage, improper installation performed by a party other than Automated Buildings Company, modification, repair, or maintenance carried out by a party not authorized by the Company, tampering, an accident, or any cause beyond the Company’s responsibility.
• If the product is returned without its original packaging or with missing accessories, components, manuals, warranty cards, or any essential items that affect its ability to be resold.
• If the product was manufactured, imported, ordered, programmed, or customized specifically for a particular project or customer, unless it is defective or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
• If the return or exchange request is submitted after the period specified in this Policy has expired.
• If the product has been activated, registered, or linked to the customer’s account, the manufacturer’s platform, or its cloud services in a manner that cannot be reversed or cancelled.
• Software licenses, activation keys, subscriptions, digital products, electronic downloads, cloud services, and any other digital products are subject to the manufacturer’s or supplier’s licensing and cancellation terms regarding eligibility for return, exchange, or refund, without prejudice to any rights granted to the customer under the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

4. Amendments to This Policy

Automated Buildings Company reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. The version published on the online store shall be the approved and effective version from its publication date unless otherwise stated.

5. Customer Acknowledgment

By using the online store and completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all provisions and conditions of this Policy.

6. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by, interpreted, and applied in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
